The.Artceram is pleased to announce that a substantial plan for enhancement of the production plants in Quartaccio (Fabrica di Roma – VT) will be launched starting from the last quarter of 2023.
This sounds as an unconventional decision since the trend of many companies – currently – is focused on the internationalization of business activities to reduce labor costs.
“The final goal and the choice that stems from it to enhance the production in Italy are not only linked to cost factors. We have realized that it is essential to control every step of the manufacturing process of our sanitaryware in order to ensure the quality our The.Artceram brand has been granting customers for decades.”
The reason can be found in the brand philosophy, explain Mr Alberto Brunelli (Managing Director at The.Artceram) and Mr Piero Pieri (Commercial Director at The.Artceram).
The Made in Italy concept has always been associated with planning and design stages while the manufacturing process is then relocated. This is not often the best choice especially when referring to certain business sectors as the sanitaryware one which is highly competitive. We, at The.Artceram, really wish to go back to a complete Made In Italy concept where the brand can be differentiated and where foreign market, especially Americas and East Europe, can be favourably entered.
“During the FuoriSalone in Milan (2023 edition) we mentioned our clients and partners our industrial and reorienting manufacturing plan and we received a very positive feedback. We have noticed that, apart from the many prizes The.Artceram were awarded over the years, design collections famous all over the world, it is extremely important to keep and match the brand mission promises with the final quality of any product we make.”
says Mr Alberto Brunelli (Managing Director at The.Artceram).
Last but not least, as often happens, the decision to reorient and enhance the production inside the well-known The.Artceram plants will have many positive and external benefits. More jobs in 2023, many more until 2024, satellite activities with the goal of having in the near future a global district made of sanitaryware and ceramic factories.
The return of Made in Italy and the start of this important project of reorientation of manufacturing plants by The.Artceram will have its visible effects during next Cersaie 2023 – Bologna Fiere 25th to 29th of September – where new collections will be presented and launched.
